Adventure Camp-Live Operation!

From 10 March to 12 March 2010, we had a military camp at the Singapore Vision Farm. At the start, I thought that it was going to be strict and tiring..However, after the entire camp, tiring it is but it was worth while due to the fun activities we had with each other, fostering a stronger unity and bond amongst us..That is the most important..

Day 1:
Reached the school hall at 7:05am..And yes, there were some people laughing at me due to me wearing specs instead of lens..Then we were given a briefing and introduction by the coaches/trainers before boarding the bus..After reaching the camp destination, we placed our bags in the bunks and had our first activity: The Contact. Basically we were to find the hidden green cap without being sported by the other team..If we are sported, we had to quickly say contacted and slide down and be in prone position..Then we also crossed mud but although we did not find the cap and suffered several cuts, it was fun..Then, we also had the foot drill which was very fun.

Yea and so on and so forth..Then we also played the slippery slope and the covering holes to prevent water from coming out and collect the two balls game which was relatively interesting too..

Day 2:
As we failed to fufil the expectations of the standby bed, we were punished to do 154 sets of 10 of perfect claps..And so we did it till it was 9am and we learn a lesson to work as one as choices have consequences..After that, we had the recee patrol which was fun too..Then we got punished by standing still without talkig and fidgting for 2 hours as some people were smoking in the middle of the night of Day 1..We had no choice but to endure since its 1 for all and all for 1..Then we had campfire too at night and i think our class did a good job performing..Well done 3e1..

Day 3:
As today was the last day, luckily, we didnt get punished in doing perfect claps and after having an oily breakfast which was trouble for some girls, we cleaned the area..After that we had our own time with the PMs and AMs and so we passed our booklet around to ask frens of 3e1 to tag..Im so happy to get a tag from her :D..Then we board the bus and went back to DMSS while was sleeping time for alex and me..Hahahas..Then we did a final march and we were dismissed..

Aftermath:
After all this, we gathered and bid farewell to the PMs and AMs by talking ot them and taking photos..It was hard for me to leave them as although i was not so emotional as some people to cry, my leg was resisting me to leave and i kept going back to them which was about a consecutive of 5 times..After finally deciding to leave when all has bid farewell, i went to petal mac with Jeremy and ate there..As we fnished the burger and left the fries only, half of the people fro 3E2 and other classes all came and i went to order more stuff and eat with them..When home at 2:40pm and thus, it was home sweet home for me..

However, the unforgettable memories wiht the PMs, AMs and 3E1 touches me and I hoped that time could be rewind when we were all in the camp..I and 3E1 will all miss PM Angus and Kay and AM Naz and Weizhen..And so i will end off by wishing that fate will let us meet once again..
